Safety Department

Day County Services takes pride in bringing quality services to their customers and creating a culture of safety for each team member. It is our desire at DCS to have every action compliant with the safety guidelines put forth by OSHA.

Each month DCS drivers and mechanics attend a safety meeting that reminds and informs them of safety hazards, basic first aid, and many preventive measures to take that will unsure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.

Our safety team has certifications from DISA Globle Solutions for Breath Alcohol Technician Training and Urine Collection Training; as well as completing the Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Instructor Development Course from Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service.
